I was very fortunate this September to join Master Joey Yap on his 2014 China Excursion. Joey Yap is the founder of Mastery Academy of Chinese Metaphysics. Mastery Academy is a global organization devoted to teaching all subjects in Chinese Metaphysics.
I tried my best to conquer as many Dragons (Steep Mountains), as possible during the excursion, but when I could not handle the Dragons I sent James, my husband, as my representative to climb the Dragons with Mr. Yap.
During the week of the excursion we were able to see beautiful national parks, mountains, and sacred temples. It was a spiritual journey to many amazing and breathtaking places in China, meditating near dragon veins, and meridian spots.
The Immortal Mountain of San Qing Shan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the five most beautiful mountains in China. This is one mountain I will always remember. The hike up the mountain was challenging, but the group made it up to the top where a 1,600 year old Taoist temple stood. Joey told me to go upstairs to experience the Meridian spot in front of the Kwan Yin Altar. It was amazing to feel the stillness and calm in front of the altar. The mist came through open windows atop the altar and it felt like you were in heaven or a divine space.
These are unusual formations in Dragon Tiger Mountains. This is considered a Sacred area and the birthplace of Taoism.
My visit to the Qing Long Mountains was a breathtaking look at lush green mountains that spiraled around Ci Yun Temple: a sacred spiritual place. All of us were able to meditate at the meridian spot behind the temple. I was amazed by the size and height of the mountains surrounding the temple.
There is a quote that best describes what prayer is according to Lao Tzu:
“Music in the soul can be heard by
the universe.”
This is Lao Tzu’s expression of “intentions manifesting” or “thoughts become things,” which is also discussed widely as “the secret” or “the law of attraction.”
On our last day, we went to the Shaolin Temple in the Henan Province. l took the tram up to see the other Shaolin Temple they were rebuilding. I got a wonderful view of the Shaolin Temple from the open tram I was riding on. The majority of the group wanted to follow Joey up to the Bodhidarma’s Cave.
Also, on the last day we had a wonderful dinner at a table that seated 33. It was a fun closing dinner.
Many thanks to Joey Yap and his team at Mastery Academy for this wonderful excursion through China!
